FNL got renewed! We saved Friday Night Lights! (OK, maybe not us specifically, but I know the hundreds of comments received on this site got noticed by NBC)

Thanks to everyone who helped save Friday Night Lights! We’re getting Season Two!

    Disaster! FNL is being slotted at 9pm Central on Fridays. Terrible time for it. Being set up to fail.

    I agree that the time frame is awful. But, I always recorded the show or watched it on nbc.com anyway.

    Hi, I’m italian. Here in Italy we’ve just seen the last episode of FNL’ first season yesterday evening on Fox Channel(a pay Tv).Here in Italy is a very popular serial and I love it! I know that in US you’re going to see the second season next 5th of october; Maybe we’ll see it next spring..I’m so excited! Thanks for saving our favorite show!

    I had heard from others that I would like this show, and I finally watched the whole season over a few days from nbc.com. Then I learned that the DVDs came out earlier that week - so I bought them immediately, and now, as soon as I finish the season, I start meandering through again. FNL is simply the most riveting television show I’ve come across in a long time (previous favorite was The West Wing) and I will most definitely be watching this season! I haven’t had a TV (by choice) in five years and this show is good enough to make even me tune in. Yay season 2!!!!

    I have never been hooked on a show so bad. I got to watch an episode here and there and then when i saw that it came out on dvd i grabbed a copy and i have not stopped watching it since! Can’t wait for season 2!
